Privacy Policy

Himself ("Developer", "We", "Us") operates the Cards Maker application ("App"). This policy explains what data the App handles.

1. Data We Collect

The App does not require account creation and does not collect personal information such as name, email, or location to function.

2. Local Data Storage

Categories, decks, word lists, designs, and exported PDF files are stored locally on your device using local SQLite storage. This data is not automatically uploaded to any server we control.

3. Backup Feature

If you use the in-app backup feature, backup files (.albackup / similar) are created and stored at a location you choose on your device, or in a cloud storage location you explicitly connect (e.g. Google Drive), under your own account and control. We do not have access to these files.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party libraries (see "View Open-Source Licenses" in About) which may have their own data handling practices, including:

• Google Fonts — assets bundled locally, no runtime data collection
• Image picker / file picker — accesses device storage only with your permission, for content you choose to import
• Donation links (Donorbox, PayPal, Patreon, Ko-fi) — if you choose to donate, those third-party services handle your payment data under their own privacy policies, not ours

5. Permissions

The App requests device storage/photo permissions solely to let you import images and save exported PDFs. We do not access this data for any purpose beyond what you initiate.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
